Who is Ludvig Aberg?
Aberg is a 24-year-old golfer who plays golf as a job and is now in the PGA Tour. He started playing professionally in 2023.
He comes from Sweden and is ranked ninth in the world as a golfer, according to the Official World Golf Ranking. He went to college at Texas Tech, where he was the best amateur golfer in the world and was chosen three times as part of the top group of American college golfers.
This is Aberg's first time playing in the Masters tournament and his first major championship. He's playing at Augusta National this week. Also, in 2023, he played in the Ryder Cup for Team Europe.

At the top of his golf bag, Aberg uses a Titleist TSR2 driver. He also has a TaylorMade Stealth 2 3-wood and a 5-wood. Recently, he added a TaylorMade Stealth 2 7-wood with a Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 9 X shaft, while his 3-wood and 5-wood have a Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 8 X shaft.
For his irons, Aberg uses a complete set of Titleist T100 irons. These clubs helped him win in Switzerland, where he gained 15.04 strokes from tee to green, which was 3.24 shots better than anyone else in the competition. Ludvig carries two Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges in 50 and 54 degrees and a WedgeWorks Prototype wedge in 60 degrees. It's interesting to note that all of his wedges have fairly low bounce. His putter is an Odyssey Works Versa #1, and he plays with the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball.
