How to Get Your Soldiers in Manor Lords?
Before you can get your soldiers in Manor Lords, you first have to build your manor. To do this, you need to reach the Small Village Level with your settlement and have the right materials ready. You'll need 5 timber, 20 planks, and 15 stone.
Once your manor is built, your soldiers, called the retinue, will show up. At first, you'll only have five soldiers, but you can have up to twelve. Even though they're few, they can still be a big help in battles. If any of them get defeated or you want to fill empty spots, you can hire new soldiers for your retinue.
How to Get More Retinue in Manor Lords?
To get more soldiers, called retinue, in Manor Lords, you need to visit the military section. There, you'll see a special icon for your soldiers. You can customize them and even recruit new ones. Each new soldier costs 50 Treasury. Remember, this isn't the same as Regional Wealth; you get Treasury from taxes.
You can also pick their weapons, armor, and colors there. You're allowed to give them new names too, but it won't make them stronger. It's just a fun way to personalize your army in Manor Lords. Once your soldiers fight, they earn skill points to get better.
You can also upgrade their armor. When you start, you can have up to twelve soldiers, but you can expand that by building Garrison Towers. With practice, you could have a really skilled army. That's all you need to know about getting and keeping a group of soldiers in Manor Lords. You can recruit more and change their looks whenever you have enough money in your treasury.
Manor Lords Retinue
In Manor Lords, having a strong military is super important to keep your lands safe. If you got the right gear, you can tell your villagers to join the militia. But, they might not be enough to handle big armies. If you got some cash, you could hire mercenaries to help protect your folks.
Another way is to build up your own squad, called a retinue. These are skilled soldiers who work directly for you. They're tougher than regular militia and you can tweak them how you like. You'll need these fighters to take on tougher enemies and make your city strong enough to defend itself.
Manor Lords
Manor Lords is a cool video game set in medieval times where you build cities and lead armies. It's made by Greg Styczeń from Slavic Magic and published by Hooded Horse.
